SBED: Society for Bayesian Methods in Epidemiology and Diagnostics
We are pleased to announce the establishment of the Society for Bayesian methods in Epidemiology and Diagnostics (SBED); an international society, for the application of Bayesian Latent Class Models (BLCMs) in life sciences in order to promote collaboration of scientists working in the field and the harmonized reporting of relevant research.
The society’s 1st activity will be the organization of an international conference, that will place 31 January – 2 February 2024, in the vibrant city of Brussels, Belgium. The event is under the auspices of the HARMONY COST Action, that has been fostering interdisciplinary collaboration of researchers, practitioners, and experts in Health Sciences, including but not limited to epidemiologists, clinicians, veterinarians, psychologists and environmental health experts.
