The Action members from Greece are organizing a three-day training school on Bayesian Disease Measurement (BDM) for Health scientists in Larissa, Greece on 25 – 27 October 2022.
The training school is organized with both introductory didactic teaching and hands-on practical sessions on Bayesian methods for true prevalence estimation & diagnostic test evaluation.
The following core topics will be covered:
- Running basic models in JAGS
- Apparent & true prevalence estimation
- How to choose a prior distribution?
- Diagnostic test evaluation with Hui-Walter models

The training school is organized under funding from COST Association and financial support is provided according to COST rules*.
