Area of expertise
Epidemiology, mainly relating with ticks and tick-borne pathogens

Area of interest
1. Novel research projects dealing with the epidemiology of tick-borne pathogens, and their early warning systems (using statistical methods)
2. Writing scientific papers relating with spatial distribution of ticks and tick-borne diseases and some meta-analyses of them

Current research task
Molecular epidemiology of multiple tick-borne pathogens, which cause infection in both animals and/or humans, in ticks and vertebrate host (mainly including wild and domestic animals); such as Crimean–Congo hemorrhagic fever (CCHF), Spotted fever group (SFG) rickettsiae, Lyme borreliosis, babesiosis, theileriosis, anaplasmosis etc.
